It’s the final day of Ian Harford’s and Steve Wild’s self-guided hunting in Alaska trip. A culmination of 1 year in the planning, over 4,000 miles travelled and 14 epic days hunting in the extreme Alaskan wilderness, Ian and Steve have taken you on a true wilderness hunting journey. 

A long day awaits the team as they must butcher and pack out their giant Alaskan moose before the evening draws in.

While it would be easy to get disheartened after the disappointment of the previous day, Ian Harford and Steve Wild are both experienced hunters and have learned that failure must first come before success. A new day brings with it new challenges – the biggest of which is now time. 

Ian Harford and Steve Wild have now endured eight days within the Alaskan wilderness. In their pursuit of moose, the team have now relocated deep into moose country and the valleys below show significant signs of activity. 

After early success on their caribou hunt in Alaska, wild game has eluded Ian and Steve. Now deep within moose country, the team are eager to explore the surrounding wilderness in the hop of successfully hunting moose.
